Can you add other fruits to the avocado shake?
Of course you can, this will add other exotic and tropical flavors, fruits like cherries, strawberries, cucumber, apple, blueberries or banana, preferably banana.

The first thing you have to do is be sure that the avocado is ripe, you can know if it’s ripe squeezing it gently, It’s ripe if it yields slightly to the pressure and feels just a little bit soft but not mushy.
If the avocado you bought is too hard, wait some days until it get ripe, if you want to accelerate the process, you can place the avocado inside a brown paper bag or wrap the avocado in a piece of newspaper and wait for one or two days, you can put another fruit inside, such as an apple or banana.
To prepare the avocado in smoothie, peel it very well, don’t waste the pulp leaving pieces in the skin, discard the pit and blend the rest.
- 1/2 of a large avocado or preferably 2 or 3 avocado hass, they are little but more delicious.
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract.
- 1 1/2 cups of milk, the one you consume.
- Sweetener of choice, such as 2 tsp pure maple syrup, stevia or regular sugar.
- 1/8 tsp salt
- scoop of protein powder or chocolate powder, optional.
Peel the avocado and discard the pit or seed, put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until you get a smooth texture, you can add some ice cubes, or or coconut milk ice cubes to get a thick and ice cream texture smooth.
You can easily make coconut milk ice cubes by adding the milk in a ice cube tray, it can be canned coconut milk or directly from the coconut.
